We took a chance and stayed at Gil's place even though he didn't have any reviews. This apartment exceeded our expectations and we would say here anytime we come to Porto. There were a few items that made it even better than expected. The location was fantastic. We within close walking distance to three metro stations and the Campanha train station. There was a bus stop in front as well. The apartment overlooked an interior courtyard. It was super quiet. We slept so well. The building and apartment are newly renovated and beautiful. The common areas are cleaned regularly. The elevator made it convenient to get our bags up to the first floor. Even though there isn't a washer in the apartment, there is a laundry located a couple buildings down the street. There is a Lidl and Continente grocery a block away and a wonderful fruit market at the end of the block. Gil was a fabulous host. This place is truly a gem. Highly recommended. Thanks Gil!

Enjoyed every single day in this apartment. It is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a long stay. Great accommodation, with good location. The city centre can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot as well as the train station for excursions . The apartment is very well equipped, especially in the kitchen you will find everything you need to cook a dinner on site. Thanks to the air conditioning it is also very comfortable in the apartment when it is hot. I would definitely recommend the accommodation for a trip to Porto.
